Empowering the Sick with Quality Care.
This is Our Journey to Health.
#REACHHEALTH
REACH HEALTH PROJECT
Access to healthcare should be a universal right.
Our team is committed to working on the The 3 Pillars of Universal Healthcare that could propel us towards making it a right:

1. Affordability: Impoverishing over 55 million Indians annually, healthcare is not affordable in India. Our efforts are directed towards the early diagnosis and treatment of the elementary illnesses which spiral out of control when left untreated leading to this financial catastrophe.

2. Awareness: Equally important to bolstering the supply side of the equation is generating demand among the poor who have thus far neglected healthcare. This means helping our beneficiaries understand the need for seeking healthcare early, the importance of healthy behavior and the opportunities that are available to offset costs.

3. Availability: Through the organization of remote healthcare clinics and establishing a robust continuum of care, we are bringing healthcare to the doorsteps of our beneficiaries.
ROUTINE HEALTH CAMPS
Reach Lives organizes pediatric general health camps for children across Bengaluru using Mobile Medical Units. Manned by doctors and allied health staff, these are state-of-the-art mobile clinics capable of addressing the routine healthcare and minor surgical needs of our beneficiaries. These clinics also function as the point of delivery of our IEC campaigns and workshops.

We need your generous support to fully operationalize these life-saving vehicles. Please consider supporting our campaign by contributing:
ADVANCED HEALTHCARE
Reach Lives operates 2 hospital wings in Rajajinagar and TC Palya, Bengaluru, for in-patient and long-term care of the destitute. In addition to this, through the participation of our network of healthcare providers we are able to organize higher-order medical camps for the sick across the domains of ENT, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Endocrinology and Psychiatry. Reach Lives also organizes vaccine outreach programs to administer life-saving vaccines that are not yet routinely administered such as the HPV vaccine.
IMPACT STORY
500 VACCINES WORTH 15 LAKH
See how Reach Lives volunteers teamed up with Manipal Hospitals, GSK and the Goa College of Architecture to bring life-saving Cervarix™ vaccines to children in orphanages.
HEALTH EDUCATION
Through our enthusiastic and talented volunteers, we are able to organize fun, informative IEC workshops for our beneficiaries featuring talks, games, activities, Q&A sessions and counselling sessions. By providing health education at a young age and encouraging the ownership of one's health among our beneficiaries, we are able to augment health-seeking behavior and combat end-stage complications of simple diseases.
MENTAL HEALTH
Mental health is among the most overlooked areas of healthcare today; poor mental health also remains one of the most difficult problems to solve. Having worked with over 200 homes that house urban poor children who come from difficult circumstances (often beyond their control), we understand first-hand how important fostering good mental health is. Our efforts are directed at providing our beneficiaries creative pursuits that can help them reach a better quality of life. Through our young, enthusiastic and creative volunteers, we organize workshops, parties and more.

OUR COVID-19 RESPONSE
Reach Lives dedicated its resources to identifying and helping the most disadvantaged individuals, especially those who lost all means of sustenance, during the pandemic. This included communities of migrant workers, daily wage laborers, domestic helps, construction workers, trans-persons in need, children, elderly and the destitute in care homes, orphanages and foster homes. We primarily focused on meeting the macro and micro-nutrient needs of the communities with a firm belief that adequate nutrition was the need of the hour during those testing times.
