At Reach Lives, we believe every child deserves to feel loved and celebrated, especially on their birthdays. That's why our 'Feasts of Love' program holds a special place in our hearts. This initiative allows individuals to share their joy on birthdays, anniversaries, or other important milestones by sponsoring a festive meal for children at one of our foster homes.

Today, we are shining a spotlight on Vani Venugopalan, whose recent birthday was filled with warmth and generosity. Instead of traditional gifts, Vani chose to donate through Feasts of Love, providing a delicious and memorable meal for many children. Her kindness brought smiles, laughter, and a sense of belonging to those who might otherwise not have a chance to mark the occasion.

The Power of Shared Celebrations

Feasts of Love are about more than just food. They create a ripple effect of joy. Children feel seen and cherished, knowing that someone, somewhere, is thinking of them on their special day. And for donors like Vani, it's a heartwarming way to make their celebrations even more meaningful.

Thank You, Vani!

Vani, you have set a beautiful example of compassionate celebration. Your generosity has made a difference in the lives of many children. We are so grateful for your support of Reach Lives and the Feasts of Love program.

At Reach Lives, we believe every child deserves opportunities to explore, discover, and dream big. That's why we were overjoyed to learn about the recent field trip sponsored by Dr. Rumya, to whom we are eternally grateful. 220 students from Chamrajpet Government School had the incredible chance to visit the Jawaharlal Planetarium in Bangalore!

Exploring the wonders of the cosmos is an experience that can ignite a lifelong passion for science. For children, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds, extracurricular activities like this field trip are invaluable. They open doors to worlds beyond the immediate surroundings, fostering curiosity and a love for learning.

The Importance of Extracurricular Activities

Extracurricular experiences are crucial for a child's overall development. They:

  • Promote exploration: Children can discover interests and talents outside the traditional classroom.

  • Build social skills: Teamwork, collaboration, and interaction in new settings are essential.

  • Nurture a sense of wonder: Field trips, workshops, and events spark curiosity and a desire to learn.

Sadly, children from disadvantaged communities often lack access to these enriching opportunities. That's where we come in.

Reach Lives: Making a Difference

At Reach Lives, we're committed to empowering children in India through projects in healthcare, nutrition, and rehabilitation. We strive to provide not just the basics, but also the resources and experiences that help children reach their full potential. Our work aims to level the playing field, giving all children the chance to learn, grow, and pursue their dreams.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Rumya for her generous sponsorship and for helping make this inspiring trip possible.

We are incredibly grateful to the students, staff, and parents of Stonehill International School in Bangalore. Their recent international food fest was not only a delicious celebration of cultures but also a powerful act of generosity. Parents from around the globe showcased their culinary talents, offering dishes from Egypt, Japan, the USA, China, India, and beyond. This vibrant event raised an impressive Rupees 2,50,000 to support our upcoming HPV vaccination drive in South India!

Why HPV Vaccination Matters

Cervical cancer is a preventable disease, yet it remains a significant health threat for women worldwide. The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is a leading cause of cervical cancer. HPV vaccines offer safe and effective protection against this virus, significantly reducing the risk of developing this cancer.'

By providing HPV vaccinations to young girls in South India, we are investing in their health and futures. This initiative aligns with our commitment to improving the lives of disadvantaged children in India.

Thank You, Stonehill!

The Stonehill International School community has demonstrated that global collaboration and compassion can make a tangible difference. With their enthusiastic support, we are one step closer to protecting countless girls from cervical cancer. We are truly humbled by their dedication to this important cause.
