Anora Charitable Foundation (ACF) is proud to announce that we have received the People of Action Award Recognition Award from Rotary Bangalore - Bhuvaneshwarinagar for "exemplary work done to create hope in the world during 2023-2024".
2023-2024 was a challenging year for ACF, however, with your help and the help of organizations such as Rotary International, Dream India Network and others, we have continued and expanded our programming across healthcare, nutrition and education for children and the destitute in Bengaluru.
During the past year, ACF faced numerous challenges, including:
Overcoming barriers to healthcare access in underprivileged communities.
Addressing severe malnutrition among children in urban slums.
Ensuring continuity of education for children amidst economic hardships.
Mobilizing resources and volunteers in response to urgent needs during public health crises.
The need for urgent action in healthcare, nutrition, and education, especially for children in a growing country like India, cannot be overstated. With a rapidly expanding population and significant socioeconomic disparities, these sectors require immediate and sustained attention. Poor healthcare infrastructure, widespread malnutrition, and gaps in educational access pose critical challenges that need to be addressed to ensure a brighter future for the next generation.
Looking ahead, ACF is committed to continuing its mission of improving the lives of those in need. Our plans for the future include:
Enhancing our nutrition programs to provide balanced meals and nutrition education to more children and families.
Strengthening our educational support systems to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn and thrive.
In addition, ACF is thrilled to announce the expansion of our ACF Scholarship Programme in a big way. This initiative aims to support more students in their educational journey, providing them with the resources they need to achieve their dreams. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting development.
