All Reach Health events have been temporarily suspended in lieu of the COVID-19 outbreak. This decision has been made keeping in mind the urgent need for health workers in the frontlines.
During these testing times, we are dedicating our resources to bringing food to the homeless in Bangalore. The situation has left a large population of homeless without food access. Through our partnership with Night Shelter, we are helping a portion of this population access quality nutrition.
OUR COVID-19 RESPONSE
The Reach Lives team is currently involved in bringing food and produce to vulnerable groups of homeless in Bangalore. With widespread lockdowns in effect, these populations of people are left stranded with no means of accessing daily nourishment. Our partnership with Night Shelter helps us achieve this.
Our partner health workers are currently involved in front-line healthcare services. Further, we are continuing to work with the communities we have reached to ensure healthy community behavior.
Our insights team is using the various outlets available to spread accurate information on COVID-19. Tackling misinformation is a key strategy that is needed during these testing times. We believe that our efforts in using reliable data sources - the WHO and the Indian MoHFW is effective in this regard.
